Having email problems?

Posted by Barry Kerrigan on June 6th, 2006

You might be having some sort of spam filter problem. About two months ago some spammers spoofed our domain name to send out a zillion email spam messages which appeared to have come from us.

AOL, MSN, and a few others, including a couple of ISPs blacklisted ALL desktopmiracles.com email addresses as a spam generators and started bouncing legitimate emails from us to clients and vendors with AOL and MSN email addresses.

We’ve requested it to be fixed a couple of times, but it seems to get fixed, work fine, then switch back to rejecting emails again.

The *really* fun part is some ISPs appear to have blocked our emails, but didn’t institute a bounce notification or in more simple terms, we had no way of knowing that emails weren’t getting thru, until we had direct contact with the client/vendor and figured it out.

The joys of spammers ruining the internet…..

Printing prices going up
